TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – Please read carefully
DELIVERY In most cases your wedding dress can take anywhere between 3 and 5 months for delivery (some suppliers may quote longer). If we feel we are working to tight delivery times we will inform our supplier of the date of your wedding to confirm the order is OK to place. Our suppliers will only take orders they can fulfil. You may be asked to opt for a ‘rush order’ to ensure that delivery is on time. In this is the instance you will be asked to pay for this express service. There will be a rush order fee £50-£100 depending on designer. Please note that in all cases your order delivery date is estimated and from time to time there may short delays so please be very flexible with your fitting dates.
DEPOSIT On the day of purchase we will request a 50% deposit. Deposit is non-refundable
BALANCE outstanding on your wedding gown is due when Yorkshire Bridal Shop receives delivery of your wedding dress.
Payment Plans We offer flexible payment plans to suit your budget. Payments must hit 50% before gowns are ordered and must be paid in full before alterations.
CANCELLATION If you change your mind about your wedding dress or in the very unfortunate circumstance you cancel your wedding you must still pay for your wedding dress in full and collect from our boutique. We will do our best to offer advice on how to re-sell your gown on to recuperate some of the cost.
FAULTY GOWNS. In the very rare case you wedding dress should arrive with some sort of fault will return immediately to our supplier and ask them to rectify and send back to us at their cost.
OFF THE PEG SALES If you buy an ‘off the peg’ wedding gown or a sample sale wedding gown you will be asked to pay for your wedding dress in full. This type of wedding dress sale is ‘non-refundable’
ALTERATIONS Alteration costs are not included in total cost for your wedding dress purchase order. Alterations are a separate agreement between yourself and our seamstress. Majority of wedding dresses will need alteration. In cases where you live far away you may want to use your own reputable seamstress to make travelling easier.
SIZING We will take your basic measurements (Hip/waist/bust) if you are ordering a gown in. Your wedding gown will be ordered at the largest measurement unless you have requested different. Alterations would then be needed in order to tailor the dress to your shape. Measurements taken on the day may change over time so please keep an eye on measurements taken from the order date. If you order a gown without having measurements taken please keep track of measurements on designer’s size chart.
ALTERATION FITTING’s 1st Fitting alterations must be made on aweekday. 2nd & 3rdFittings can be offered on a weekday or a Sunday. It’s important you are flexible with fitting appointments so that we are able to be with you and provide our full undivided attention whist trying your wedding dress and accessories. Please do not be late for your alterations appointment. If these days are not suitable for you we can provide you with alternative seamstress options.
Your wedding gown must be paid in full when it arrives at our store and BEFORE alterations take place.
A quote for alterations will be given to you at your first fitting.
